PCQI Online Training
There’s more than one way to get trained as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), and with ImEPIK, you can do it 100% online.

Who Should Take This Course?
This ten-module program is for any personnel in an FDA-regulated food processing facility responsible for the food safety plan.
Typically, managers, supervisors, and quality control leads take this course, as well as those seeking to advance to those positions. However, this is also good training for food safety teams, especially to ensure adequate staff coverage during crises like a pandemic. Course Description

What does FSMA's Preventive Controls for Human Food Rule Require?
CFR (Code of Regulation_ Section §117.180 (c) (1): “to be a preventive controls qualified individual, the individual must have successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls at least equivalent to that received under a standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by the FDA or otherwise qualified through job experience to develop and apply a food safety system. Job experience may qualify an individual to perform these functions if such experience has provided an individual with knowledge at least equivalent to that provided through the standardized curriculum. This individual may be, but is not required to be, an employee of the facility.”
Each FDA-registered facility must designate a PCQI who is responsible for the development, oversight and management of the Food Safety Plan. The PCQI is required to have training and experience that exceeds existing HACCP-based systems.
FAQs
